Vasse Felix's 2010 Heytesbury Chardonnay was named the top wine of the Royal Adelaide Wine Show after winning its way to the podium with trophy awards for the best chardonnay and best white wine of the competition.
The premium WA chardonnay, which retails for $55, is yet to be released. "Consumers who fell out of love with chardonnay five years ago should revisit the contemporary styles, with good advice from their retailer or restaurateur," chairman of judges Brian Walsh said.
