Philosophy is back in Manila and they are making it big this time! Find out what's new with Philosophy!
Philosophy has made it official last February 11, 2014 when they unveiled their first flagship store in the Philippines at the equally new and posh SM Megamall Mega Fashion Hall. This store is currently the biggest Philosophy store in the world!
Philosophy made a spread in the middle of SM Mega Fashion Hall to accommodate all their guests and members of the press for a short presentation and introduction of the Philosophy brand. The event was also graced by Robin White, director and global press for Philosophy. She spoke of the history of the brand, the trends it is currently following and advancement that they are applying to give Philosophy women everything they could possibly need.
Philosophy products were everywhere for guests to enjoy.
Ryan Cu, brand Manager for Philosophy Philippines, welcomes us to the event. :)

Guests thought it a treat to try some of Philosophy's best-selling products. Here, Mikki Galang of breakmyspell.com is enjoying a sample of the iconic Hope in a Jar, which we all know is Oprah's favorite moisturizer. :)
The ribbon-cutting ceremony was short and sweet as most of us were eager to step in to the store and check out our Philosophy favorites!
Philosophy is widely known for their skincare. The founder, Christina Carlino, was first in a business of providing skin care exclusively for dermatology clinics. She was inspired to create a line that will bring these things to our home. But also being a poet and a mother, she thought of giving each product an uplifting quote or message to inspire women using the products she created... And so Philosophy was born. And the rest as they say, is history!
Here in the Philippines though, from what I noticed, Philosophy's bath and body products were most popular. Perhaps now it the time to balance it out since the store has a special room called, the Peeling Cabin, where in costumers can enjoy skin treatments using Philosophy skin care products. I can't wait to give birth and finally try their services!
Clueless on what to get at Philosophy? Check out their Fab5 wall. All their best sellers are listed there.
Mine would be their Microdelivery Peel Kit that I swear by! You won't need a diamond peel when you use this once a week! I hop they will carry the pads, too, coz that really works wonders! Another fave is Hope in a Tube eye cream which has a tingly feel but gives great results the next day. If your lazy bones are acting up and you refuse to use a makeup remover and then wash your face, go for their Purity 3-in-1 Facial cleanser for face and eyes. Lastly, get the Miracle Worker pads, they are truly a miracle worker for fine lines and wrinkles and great at exfoliation, too.
Now that I'm pregnant and can't use regular skin care so I opted to enjoy Philosophy through their bath and body products as well as their fragrances. One of my fave is the Melon Daquiri shampoo, shower gel and bubblebath. Then I spray some Amazing Grace, my favorite scent at the moment. With hormones ranging, light scents are best for me and Amazing Grace is exactly that. Sophisticated, lasting and lightweight.
Inspiring words are everywhere inside the new Philosophy store. :)
I enjoyed the opening with fellow bloggers, Marj, Mikki, Anna, Tara and Rowena |
Head on out to Philosophy at the second floor of Mega Fashion Hall, SM Megamall and see skin and body care in a better, more positive way! :)
Enjoy!!
