Hello My Lovelies,
I hope you are all doing well and are having a wonderful week so far. With February just round the corner I thought it was only fitting that I start sharing some of the Valentines Day posts I have planned for you all this year. I thought what better way to kick things off then with a LUSH haul?! If you have been reading my blog for quite some time then you will know that it's no secret that I absolutely adore them as a brand. Everything from their ethos, full product range, limited edition collection and so much more - they really are my guilty pleasure. Whilst on my lunch break last week I quickly popped by my local LUSH store to check out the new Valentines Day collection and it is an absolutely beauty! I was actually given a one-on-one tour and talk through of the entire Valentines Collection and I want to say a huge thank you to Chloe from the Milton Keynes store for being so lovely and helpful. I tried to be good considering I have *kinda* been on a January spending ban but I couldn't resist picking up a few bits to share with you all.
LUSH Lots of Love Gift Set | £39.95
After browsing through the entire collection I decided to treat myself to one of the limited edition Valentine's Day gifts sets and also a handful of additional goodies to try. The 'Lots of Love' gift set definitely stood out to me from the very beginning due to it's giant heart shaped box! I know they say to never judge a book by it's cover but it was just so pretty. The box itself has had a little upgrade from 2016 and now houses 7 beautiful products.
Firstly we have Prince Charming which is a bright pink shower cream that smells absolutely delicious. I haven't tried many of the LUSH shower creams so it was so nice to see this one included in the gift box. You will fall head over heels in love with it's sweet marshmallow root and vanilla pod infusion with invigorating fresh pomegranate juice and grapefruit oil. This shower cream is incredibly nourishing and leaves a gorgeous scent to the skin.
Next up we have this super cute Cupid bath bomb which smells just like the Razzle Dazzle bath oil. This little beauty will surely offer you an uplifting bath time bouquet of calming rose, bergamot, rose and violet leaf absolute. It has a subtle sweetness yet tang with Persian Lime oil. This was one of the first scents that came flooding out of the box once I opened it and it is sure to melt your heart as it melts into your bath water.
The second bath bomb in the gift box is Lover Lamp which reminds me of Butterball but with a romantic twist. You'll find a mixture of organic cocoa butter, vanilla absolute and Brazilian orange oil in this bath bomb that will leave your skin feeling incredibly moisturised and silky to the touch. When this little beauty is fizzing away in the bath all of the little red cocoa butter hearts disperse into the water - a lovely added romantic touch. I love it when bath bombs have a hidden surprise in them!
When I opened the box I noticed there was quite a lot of pink bath bomb dust floating around - I soon discovered that it was in fact Rose Bombshell which had been nocked around a little bit. It's a little more delicate than some of the others but never the less it is still a beautiful detailed bath bomb which I can't wait to try. It has a floral triplet of yellow rose petals, rose absolute and rose oil - so if you are not a fan of rose scents then this might not be the one for you. According to LUSH as the outer shell fizzes away magnificent petals burst out in a sweet haze of Sicilian lemon and floral geranium oils. I can't wait to try this one!
Love Struck could quite possibility be one of the cutest bubble bars I have ever seen. As a digital enthusiast it was so refreshing to see an emoji come to life. Out of the entire Valentines Collection I think this is the only scent I was not 100% sure about purely because it is very citrusy with lemon an geranium. When I think of Valentine's Day I would typically opt for more sweet and floral scents but I am curios to see if this heart eyes emoji can change my mind when.
What would a Valentine's Day gift box be without a message bar?! Love Spell is a creamy, fair trade organic cocoa butter bar, filled with rich rose hip syrup and spicy carnation absolute. Fair trade organic aloe vera gel soothes whilst uplifting neroli and organic lemon myrtle whisks you away. I just adore the detailing on this bar and the fact that it is baby pink. It has a gorgeous scent and once massaged into the skin leaves a beautiful lingering aroma.
Lastly but certainly not least we have the Love You, Love You Lots soap which yet again has such cute detailing. Shower in them, bathe in them, uplift your mind, body and soul with them - nothing beats a rose and there are four kinds in this luxurious soap. Rose petal infusion, rose oil, rose syrup and even fresh rose petals find their way into this love potion to give you a blooming good clean. You can really feel the love with this one.
Whilst I was in store I thought I would pick up my favourite Let The Good Times Roll cleanser that I have been obsessed with ever since my blogging bestie India introduced it to me back in November 2015. This face and body cleanser is a gentle treat for the skin, leaving you soft to the touch with a buttery popcorn fragrance. Maize flour and polenta gently exfoliate, whilst cinnamon powder stimulates and leave you feeling fresh and revived, with beautifully soft skin. This gentle yet scrubby cleanser will sooth and soften your skin, giving it a natural glow. I am obsessed with it!
Overall, I am over the moon with my LUSH Valentine's Day picks and I can't wait to make my way through them. Expect to see lots of LUSH bubble baths coming your way over on Instagram and Snapchat - I love baths at the best of times but especially during the colder months when they are extra pampering and relaxing. I think this 'Lots of Love' gift set would make the perfect Valentine's Treat to your partner or even yourself. We can treat ourselves on Valentine's Day too you know haha. If you are looking for some additional Valentine's Day inspired gifts then make sure to check back in a week or so when I will have more Valentine's Day content coming your way.

Even though I purchased the Valentines Day gift box I knew I wanted to pick up a few other goodies mainly from the permanent line that I knew would slot in perfectly within the Valentine's Day theme. The first bath bomb I picked up was Sex Bomb which is a cult classic from LUSH - and one they call their sensual healer. The fragrant blend of jasmine, ylang ylang and clary sage will soon have you feeling relaxed whilst the aromatherapy hues help to ease stress and anxiety. I think I am going to love this bath bomb - anything that can make me feel less anxious and relaxed gets 5-stars from me.
The second bath bomb I picked out was Tisty Tosty which is a real tongue twister! This is the real life 'he loves me, he loves me not' product which is studded with seven real rosebuds. It has an incredibly captivating combination of floral orris root powder, rose and lemon which smell divine. According to LUSH as this dissolves in the bath you fall in love with it even more as the scent of geranium, jasmine and rose create a spellbinding fragrance.
Finally and certainly not least I picked up Unicorn Horn. If you follow me on Twitter, Instagram or Snapchat (@SophiaMeola) then you will know how much I love anything Unicorn so as soon as I heard that LUSH were bringing it back it was inevitable that I was going to make it mine. It is not a Valentine's Day bubble bar per say but it is still a magical product that I wish LUSH would make permanent. Relaxing lavender oil meets mood brightening neroli in this lustre-filled bubble bar. Neroli oil increases serotonin levels in the brain which makes us feel contented and cheery, so you can ponder the existence of magical creatures while building a fairytale landscape of feel-good fragrant bubbles.
